Children's Ministry

Pastor of Family Ministry: Bruce Groves

The purpose of the Children’s Ministry here at The Bridge Bible Fellowship is to equip children to glorify God in their lives by exposing them to Him and His Word through an impactful ministry designed to grow healthy children who know Jesus Christ and desire to make Him known. We are seeking to instill the following core values:

  • ♦ Cherish God (The Great Commandment: Matt. 22:36-37)

  • ♦ Love One Another (The Second Greatest Commandment: Matt. 22:38-39)

  • ♦ Imitate Christ (Mature Disciple and Worshiper: Matt. 22:38-39, Luke 15)

  • ♦ Minister to Others (Excellent Equipped Servants: Col .3:23-24, Eph. 4:11ff, Tim. 2:22, Matt. 20:25-28)

  • ♦ Broadcast the Good News (Multiplying; The Great Commission: Matt. 28:19-20)

Director of Children's Ministry

Brian and Ashley Rice

Brian Rice graduated from UCLA in 2005 with a B.A. in psychology and from CSUN in 2008 with an M.A. in Clinical Psychology. Brian works as a behavioral supervisor for children with developmental disabilities.

 

Brian and his wife Ashley have been attending the Bridge (and Shepherd’s Community Church) since 2002. They are high school sweethearts and were married in April 2008. They welcomed their first child in 2011. They both love working with kids and families and have a heart for preaching God’s word to children through teaching and music. They have both been active in children’s ministry through AWANA on Wednesday nights, and teaching and assisting in Sunday school. They are both looking forward to continuing to serve God through their new role in the Children’s Ministry.

Dear Previous/Potential SETT Participant,

It is already that time to make plans for your upcoming summer break and we wanted to let you know about the dates for this year's Summer Evangelism and Teacher Training here at The Bridge Bible Fellowship:

·        Pre-Evangelism Training (Wordless Book) will be on Sunday, July 1st from 4-6 pm.    

     (4th of July is on Wed)

·        SETT Training will run from 6 pm on Friday, July 6th thru 5 pm on Friday, July 13th.

Applications for both 1st time participants and returning participants can be found below:

 Feel free to forward the applications to anyone 13 & older (college, singles, adults/parents) who is:

1.    committed to Christ

2.    desires to win souls

3.    committed to applying in faith all that they learn.

 

You can either mail your completed Application with your payment to the church office or drop it off at the Guest Table on Sunday.  Should you have any questions, please contact Pastor Bruce Groves at bgroves@tbbfchurch.org or, call his assistant Xiomara at (818) 776-1500 ext. 115.
