MinistriesThe Bridge Bible Institute

Current Courses

The Bridge Bible Institute's six week session runs Monday, September 13 through October 18, 2010. Jack Littlefield is teaching on Bibliology: How We Know That the Bible Is the Word of God from 6:30 p.m. to 7:50 p.m. and Brian Nicks is teaching on New Testament History from 8:10 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Both classes will be held in the K Building (Java) at a cost $30.00 each (plus books). Students can enroll in either of the two courses or in both courses. These are college level classes at a remarkably low price.

Bibliology: How We Know That the Bible Is the Word of God.  This course is perhaps the most important topic in all of theology! We will learn what it means that the Bible is the inspired Word of God: proofs of inspiration; how we know which books should be part of the Bible; what are the significance of variations in manuscripts; and the reliability of different translations.

New Testament History. New Testament History will take you on a journey back in time so that you will be able to understand the sovereignty of god in history and just how He sets up and tears down empires for His purposes and for His glory alone. We will begin our journey with the decline of the Persian Empire and subsequent rise of the Greek Empire, delve into the Maccabean revolt, watch the demise and absorption of the Greeks into the rising Roman Empire, and how the Roman Empire was used by God for His purposes when Christ was born.
